Welcome to Arête ("Arête," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Arête — Peptide Log website and application (the "Service"). Arête is a personal research and tracking tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information, educational content, calculators, scores, and reports available through the Service are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. The Service offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges, and access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices are subject to change with notice.
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, not interfering with or disrupting the Service, not reverse-engineering or copying the Service, and not using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service, such as your protocols, log entries, and notes ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content.
The Service, including its design, text, educational content, databases, and software, is owned by Arête and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information provided is accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arête and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
